In this section we have set out a selection of the plants used in our interior projects.
The species shown are chosen for their architectural interest, durability in specific situations, leaf texture, colour and ability to absorb toxins from the air.

However we can source any plant, specifically required, from our extensive network of suppliers and growers.

The selection of plants is set out in two sections showing specimen sized plants from 100-300cm followed by smaller plants 20-60cm.

Philodendron Xanadu
Philodendron Xanadu is a Brazilian native with shiny green leaves. Mainly grown as a bush or tall ground cover in planting schemes. This air purifier requires medium light and low maintenance.
Epipremnum Trebie
Epipremnum Pictus Trebie is native to South East Asia and is commonly known as Satin Pothos. It is also referred to as Scindapsus Trebie. This medium growing climber or trailing plant has distinctive heart-shaped satin leaves with silver blotches. It requires medium light and low maintenance. Grown as a climber on a moss-pole it is a good choice where space is limited.

Scindapsus Aureus is a deservedly popular indoor climbing or trailing plant. It is also known as Epipremnum Aureum and commonly known as Devil’s Ivy. It is native to French Polynesia but has naturalised in many of the tropical regions where it has become invasive and thereby earns it’s common name. It is an undemanding interior plant suiting low to medium light and requiring low maintenance.

The Areca Palm is native to Madagascar and is commonly known as the Yellow Palm or Butterfly Palm. It is also identified as Chrysalidocarpus Lutescens or Dypsis Lutescens. This air purifier has narrow leaved full fronds with golden stems as they mature. Medium light and regular watering as necessary.

Beautiful dwarf palm with a slender trunk and delicate arching fronds commonly known as Dwarf Date Palm and native to Indo-China. Bright light and low maintenance.
Rhapsis Excelsa
Rhapsis Excelsa is a slow growing clump forming bamboo-like small palm native to Southern China. This air purifier requires medium to bright light and moist soils.
Strelitzia Nicolai
Strelitzia Nicolai commonly known as the White Bird Of Paradise plant has large strikingly architectural paddle-shaped leaves and strong upright stems. It is native to Southern Africa and requires bright to direct light and moist soils.

Nolina Recurvata ( Beaucarnea Recurvata) is an exotic looking plant with an enlarged thick stem and tufts of narrow green leaves and is native to Mexico. It’s common name is Elephant’s Foot or Ponytail Palm. Mature branched specimens are architecturally appealing. Bright light and careful watering of large specimens.

Sansevieria Trifasciata Laurentii is a west African native which has tall architectural leaves and is commonly known as the Snake Plant. This top air purifying plant has green leaves with yellow margins. Sansevieria Zeylanica has dark green leaves with bands of lighter shading. Bright light and moderate watering. Low maintenance.

Anthuriums are South American natives which can be long-flowering if given the right situation. The flowers( bracts or modified leaves) are produced in abundance if given the required light. Commonly referred to as The Flamingo Flower. Bright light and regular watering.

The Aglaonema group is one of our favourite species. They are native to Asia and are members of the Arum family. Beautifully variegated and vibrant leaves and tolerance to low light levels (including LED and fluorescent light) are a couple of the reasons they are chosen for interior projects. This air purifier prefers low-medium light and careful watering.
